Hello everybody,

I am currently taking prerequisite courses at Durham Technical Community College, and I plan to apply to nursing school by the end of 2013. What are the top and best nursing schools in North Carolina that offer BSN nursing degrees? I would like to know other good nursing schools other than UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke, obviously because I'm worried that I may not get accepted into UNC-Chapel Hill, so I would like to have a few other back-up schools.

Not a BSN school but Carolinas College of Health Sciences (ASN) is far and away the most highly regarded nursing school in the Charlotte area. NCLEX first time pass rates are between 98-100% with every graduating class. It's affiliated with Carolinas Healthcare System.
