Does anyone have a clue what the average RN wage in NC is?

It all depends on location. Do you know which are you are thinking about moving to?

It's a great state- you can go from the mountains to the beach in a few hours!

Most hospitals across the state have similar starting salaries from what i've seen when job searching. Starting pay for a new nurse is around 20.00/hr. With experience that goes up several dollars. Thats base pay. Shift diff varies widely depending on where you work. I know that other states pay more but you also have to consider cost of living.

Wilmington is very nice! It's such a beautiful area. I'm not sure about the pay, but the cost of living is a little bit more there, just because of the location!
