I am applying for the fall 2012 PNP program at Mizzou and South Alabama. I was wondering what the average PNP (or any NP for that matter) is in this area. I have a friend who is an FNP and she says she only make about $40,000/year....which is just a little more than I make as a home health nurse. But then I have a friend who is a PNP in Columbia, SC, and she makes $125/visit!!!!!! She sees 8-10 pts a day!!!!! Thats some MAJOR bank....but I'm sure this is a rare occurence!!! But I may find myself commuting to Columbia if the job marker here stinks :)

My mother works as a FNP for a critical care clinic in Winston-Salem and makes 140k, she also works part time for a small family practice clinic (mostly weekend kind of thing, 12-5) and that nets another 20k...so 160k total before taxes.
