    Someone said that after we finish our 3rd semester (of a 5 semester ADN program), we could (somehow) get our LPN? Does anyone know if this is true. I had heard it was possible then I heard it was not true.

    I know that at Johnston Community College it's true you can sit for the exam after your third semester. Not sure about any other colleges.

    At Caldwell Community College you can sit for LPN boards after the 4th semester. From what I know, we are the only college in the area to still do this. The nursing program is geared for RN licensure though.

    I asked the director of our program and she said they no longer allow us to do it. Thanks for the replies.
