Good Luck to you! - Nov 28, '04 by ButchHello stbearlover1,
You might also want to check with some of the nursing homes in your area. A lot of the nursing homes will give you free training.
Thanks,
Butch
- Nov 29, '04 by AnerooHello! I grew up in Conover, went to school in Claremont, and I think I can help you.
I got my CNA 1 at CVCC. It was a night class, about 6 months long. They also had a daytime class. Go to the west building off of 64/70, near the stoplight (continuing ed class, the building with the playground out front).
Also, check at the Lutheran Home off of Springs Road. They used to have a CNA class that was available also. Good luck!
PS- I worked at Abernathy Center in Newton after graduation. I LOVED it!
