Hi, I'm applying to Forsyth tech P.N. program

U.S.A. North Carolina

Published

I just took the teas test and I scored a 63.3%. My percentile rank for the program is 73. If there is anyone else out their applying to L.P.N. programs for fall of 2013 please post your scores. My school will send out acceptance letters mid March. Can't wait to hear if I get in or not. :whistling:

She said you have to have taken 163 at Forsyth tech for it to count.

Oh that is confusing :/ I have 163 but not from Forsyth. My coupled bio credits are from the same school. I hate schools are so different because I got points for just bio 165 at Davidson CC and Guilford Tech. Do you know if Forsyth tech offers a bio 163 section online? Thanks :)

I am pretty sure I work with someone who took it online. I'll double check though.

I applied to the day LPN, I have not gotten a letter at all. I'm assuming this means I'll eventually get a denial letter.

I received a call offering me a spot in the LPN program at dccc! I was alternate #7. I'm excited! Good luck everyone. Don't give up!!!

Congratulations!!!!! I am so happy for you I was thinking you will probably get in at DCCC. Yea us!!!!!

IndySimp, I seen in a post that you got accepted to DCCC. What grade did you get for A&P I and II? I really wanna get in the program but I'm not sure if my grades are competitive enough.

Hi There! I came across your post today! I am trying to get into the L.P.N program at Forsyth Tech (Fall 2014). I was wondering if you could offer some insight? I am not sure how you are calculating the points together? You said you had 97 points. How can I calculate all the points I have? Thanks for any help!!

I'm currently in the FT PN program. The points are tallied by grades and then add your teas score.

In all of your required classes (ENG,BIO,PSY) you find your points as follows

A=4 points

B=3 points

C=2 points

So if you made a 75 on your teas, and B's in all of your classes, you would have a competing score of 84. My competing score was 94 and I was accepted. There are people in my class with lower (point ranges in 80's) that were accepted. And we also have 2 alternates that were accepted too. I am in the night and weekend program. Good luck! It's tough but worth it!
