Fall 2011 Mercy School of Nursing Hopefuls...

U.S.A. North Carolina

Published

Hi there! I have applied to Mercy SON for Fall 2011. I am anxiously waiting to find out about acceptance. Is there anyone else who has applied to MSON for Fall 2011 as well? We could keep each other updated in case we hear anything:)

Hello all,

Just wanted to know if anyone knows when the acceptances for the other nursing schools in Charlotte go out. I am in the top 10 on the MSON waitlist and want to still have hope that I may get in before the semester starts.

I know that deposits were due a little while ago, but when all the acceptance paperwork has been turned in, how does it work if someone decides to choose acceptance to another school? Do applicants receive their deposits back?

Keeping hope alive that I can wiggle my way on in....BTW I heard that they only accepted 24 this semester, is it because of lack of instructors or what?

Thanks guys!

Hey Serenity11,

I hope this helps....

Queens sent their letters out Friday and I am on their waitlist. CPCC sent their letters out, I believe, a week before that! I didn't apply to CPCC so I am going totally of posts from this site. Good luck! :yeah:

Thanks for the heads up! Congrats on getting on the waitlist at Queens! I would have applied there for their BSN program, but I do not have my CNA certification. Prayerfully, you will get into your program as well. Ok, thankfully there are quite a few nursing schools in the area so maybe I will get some good news soon from Mercy!

quick update:

I got in! awww yeah!:yeah:

I just got back from vacation to find an acceptance letter!!! I am SO excited!!!!!!!! Can't wait to meet my fellow night/weekend classmates!

Congratulations medic2131! Glad to hear you were accepted. I will be in your night/weekend class :)

Serenity11...are you also night/weekend?

Looking forward to meeting everyone at orientation. Is the orientation for the evening and weekend program on the 18th also?

Yes, it is. The orientation is for the daytime and evening weekend programs. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
