ECPI

Has anyone went through ECPI in Raleigh LPN program? I am to the point now that I am thinking of going for LPN and work my way up, at least I can make some money while going back to school.

I know LPNs from ECPI and while they're fine LPNs, my only real gripe is the cost of their diploma -- you're looking at over $35,000 for the program which generally runs about 1.5 years. Your local community college will probably cost 5% of that, if not less.

Wow that's expensive, I was reading a post where someone graduated from there. Thanks for the info I think I will stick with the community college.

I know friends who have completed the LPN program at ECPI. They have graduated and are quite happy working as an LPN

Oh OK the school called me yesterday and wanted me to come in and talk to them. I am undecided because of the price and the 45 min commute, but have heard that is a good school though.

I graduated from ECPI in 2009. It didn't cost that much at the time as the other user said. I cannot complain about the school. I went through the 12 month program. It was very very very intense. Like having 14 chapter pharmacology test and only 2 days to study. I thought about the money issue at first before once you enter the program you won't have time to worry about that. Just don't let the money issue put a hold on your future.

Thanks for the advice. I like that you don't have many pre reqs required in order to get in their program like most of the colleges. I have to work and pay for school since my financial aid has run out, but it will be worth it in the end.

I'm looking into the LPN program at ECPI in Charlotte. I am also concerned about the $$ and the fast pace. I have been applying to RN programs in the area and am having no luck getting in. I am hoping to do the LPN program and work my way to RN. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
