    Lauren and Sandy,

Thanks so much for your responses! I've decided to just go for it and apply. Worst comes to worst, I can just reapply in December. I'm hoping for the best though- I love so many things about the school!

    Hey Everybody!
I've been reading this forum for a couple weeks. I'm applying for this program too. I'm really excited and I hope we all make it in.

I was finishing up my personal statement and now I just need to ask for my recommendations. I couldn't find anywhere on the application if we needed to send in a transcript. I'm guessing we do, but I just didn't see it written anywhere. Could you guys helps me out?

    Hi Spring 2011,

Welcome to the forum! I had the same question. Usually schools make a big point to say, send in transcripts from ALL post-secondary schools and that seemed to be absent on Duke's website. I was on the phone with them this morning, and meant to ask about this, but forgot.

Does anyone else know if it needs to be all transcripts or just transcripts of undergrad + pre-req's?

For the Fall 2010 class, we had to send in ALL transcripts. Every single class you've taken, even if it didn't end up counting towards your BA/BS/etc. Which was a pain to me, because I switched schools several times over the years and had to track them all down!

Good luck, everyone. The admissions process at Duke is pretty lively and fast-paced and they don't keep you hanging for tooooo long, thankfully! The worst wait is the one AFTER acceptance, for school to start! I can't believe we still have almost three months before the first day of class...

    Hi everybody,

How are your apps coming along? I'm working on my personal statement right now, and phew, it's difficult! I'm having trouble being concise, because I feel as though there are a lot of questions to answer.

Also, does anyone know about how many people usually apply for the spring cohort? and how many people get interviewed/accepted?

Hello All, I have decided to throw my hat into the ring as well. I have been accepted at comparable programs already, but DUKE has always been my nonpareil.

I have waived my GRE as my GPA allots that, and I shall be finished with remaining pre-reqs by August.

Since reading previous posts, I have found that the Spring class consists of about 56 slots in comparison to the FALL class of 77. Does anyone know if there are less applicants for the spring start?

Good luck to all, and I hope that there is room for all of us!!

    Hi, Tinydancer!

I spoke with the "Duke lady" today, and she told me that 2011 spring cohort will

be around 66. Also they want to interview almost 3/4 of applicants those who

    meet the requirements. =)
