Central Regional Hospital (state psych)/Raleigh info

I'm picking up a contract at CRH from 7/9-10/7 and wanted to start networking with other nurses in the area. I don't have a car or a DL at the moment so someone that works at the hospital and would be on my shift (3-11:30) would be great to connect with, if possible.

What's the hospital like? I know it's a state facility, locked door, involuntary patients, but some feedback from nurses who have or do work there would be nice.

What's public transit like in the area? Are things clustered together or are things spread out in Raleigh? Will I have trouble without a car?
