I start in Progressive Care New Grad Residency on 02/25/13. I am from Raleigh and would be interested to know if there are any guys joining this residency, who may be interested in sharing an apartment. I am a married father of 2 kids.

Taking NCLEX on 1/8. I will come back and check progress of this request after that.

Congrats on getting accepted. Did you email the recruiter? She sent a Emil out a couple weeks ago to the guys seeing if anyone wanted to share a place I unfortunately cannot. Good luck and I hope you find something!

Thxs for the response. Do u know which recruiter - the one for med-surg or the one for progressive care. U know that they have recruiters specializing in different areas, right?

Wher will u be working - med-surg?

Whew, made it thru NCLEX. For those from NC - a tip to save you $7.95. Do not use quick results. I took the exam 1/8 at 12:30 and had a licence number on NCBON by 0900 AM 1/10. That was quicker than "quick results".

hsingh - are u from India. I am from Kerala. Would like to answer ur questions for you, but not on this forum. You know how these days agencies are very picky about what people talk about them on public forums. I wish this site would allow PM. If you send me an email address I can send you info. Otherwise, all I can say is NC is a beautiful place. Cape fear is a busy hospital. There is a huge Indian community about 1.15 hrs from Fayetteville, in Raleigh.

I don't think you will regret moving down here.

This true in some cases, but not guaranteed. It can take up to 30 days after taking The NCLEX for your license number to show up. I've found that the average time for ones name to be posted is about a week.

The Pearson Vue trick is the best way to see if you passed. You can do that pretty as soon as your done with the exam.
