Elizabeth11- Hi and yes I have been getting the emails and the packets from the nursing school and have been working towards getting them done. I think the Officail Grad school letter is pending upon completion of my last prereq course.

Hi Yankeesgrl, what do you think about phase 1.Did you select your concentration? How difficult to get a desired concentration. When are you taking NCLEX. I appreciate your response.

Phase I has not been as bad as I thought it would be. You do learn a lot in a small amount of time but they cut out all the repetitive things that you would get in a 4 year program. As far as picking a concentration, they will tell you over and over not to get too worried about it. You don't really get into your concentration until after the year of taking the nursing graduate school core courses, so there's time to decide. I sort of have an idea of what I want to do, but there's still time to change my mind. The hardest concentrations to get into are FNP/ANP. I believe they said they would take 5 (give or take a few) AE students into the FNP program.
As far as NCLEX, we haven't really signed up yet. I probably won't take mine until the beginning of September. I think we are going to discuss the application process at the beginning of this semester.
    Hope this helps a little!

Yankeesgrl-- I'm a year behind you in the AE program and was wondering if you had any advice on which professors to take for 6001, 6002 etc and how many classes you took in the fall? Also, how was the hiring process for you? Thanks so much!
