Pitt Country Hospital in Greenville, NC - Unit reviews?

I'ver heard through the grapevine that the new state-of-the-art neuro units are hiring new grads (don't know the specific names of these units, but they are new) and that they are decent units in which to work. Right now a lot of the positions in these units are being staffed by travelers, due to shortage of nurses. So, new grads - here's an opportunity for a great start to your career!

Hi WildCatFanRN...did you get offered all of the positions or was SIU your first choice? I am so nervous about doing so many interviews in one day.......did they ask any questions that caught you off guard?

Hi WildCatFanRN.....just had my interview with SIU. It went well except I was interviewed by 2 people while the nurse manager was taking phone calls! First time that ever happend during an interview haha. It went well and it seems like a great unit to work on. I am crossing my fingers!!

Yeah, I was interviewed mainly by the peer group too. The manager got called to a meeting. I did at least get to meet her briefly though. I must have made a good impression. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you as well.

Thanks!!!! I still have not heard from them and I am getting a little worried !!!! The nurse manager on SIU said I seemed very enthusiastic and that is what she looks for in a nurse soooooo idk I hope she wasn't letting me down easy haha. How long did it take before you heard back from HR??

Lets see, I left to go back home that Friday. I received a call by Tuesday with an offer. So, two days not counting the weekend I think.
