Nurse Aide I Competency Evaluation = CNA?

or maybe the Nurse Assistant I course at Durham tech will get you to a CNA? I am writing on behalf of my wife, Krissy, and we are just now starting to look into options and are having a bit of trouble finding a course at a community college in the RDU area (Durham Tech preferably, Wake Tech if not) that actually mentions the CNA specifically. If they are different, is Nurse Aide 1 CE just as good, or at least a stepping stone?

On a side note, the reason we are looking at Durham Tech over Wake is that we heard bad things about how long it can take to get into a clinical rotation out of Wake Tech; anyone have any insight?

There is no difference. A nurse aide I and a CNA are the same thing.
