I went to Mitchell CC in Statesville (adult ed).. I believe the class cost around $90 or so. I got the previous edition book for the class but the up to date workbook req'd. The information in my book was 99% the exact same as the $50+ book, mine was $5. If your an ok student, the written test will be good to go. Read over the skills and do,do,do them during the skills lab. It's not as bad as you think, esp. if you are planning on going towards an LPN or RN degree. You can do it!!! It's about how much you put into the class, not where you take it (my opinion).
