Best CNA programs near Charlotte

Hello! I just finished my CNA program at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences. It was an excellent class. Totally worth the extra money. I think it was $370(?) plus your textbook which was $49. You get GREAT clinical experience as well. We had two Saturdays at the CMC-NE in the IPU unit (that was awesome). We also had two Saturdays in the nursing home (which wasn't as awesome as the hospital). I highly recommend their program. They have day and night classes to choose from. Both instructors are great. I went to Mitchell CC in Statesville (adult ed).. I believe the class cost around $90 or so. I got the previous edition book for the class but the up to date workbook req'd. The information in my book was 99% the exact same as the $50+ book, mine was $5. If your an ok student, the written test will be good to go. Read over the skills and do,do,do them during the skills lab. It's not as bad as you think, esp. if you are planning on going towards an LPN or RN degree. You can do it!!! It's about how much you put into the class, not where you take it (my opinion).

I just finished at Nurse Aide Institute of Excellence. It was a 5 week program and the instructor is awesome! I had to take the class at night (because I work full time) so having the classes start at 6pm was great (clinicals on Saturdays.) It was $500 and included everything (book, scrubs for class - except for State Exam fees, of course.) The 5 weeks went by so quickly too.
