Are you all talking about the entrance test? I was under the impression that the HESI was an exit examination, given to determine eligibility to take the NCLEX-RN. I received a letter dated April 28th instructing me to schedule my entrance test at a Prometric Center by May 12th... you guys have got me scared now. Did I miss something???

I wonder why some people were allowed to take the test later than others...I was told to take mine by the end of March and would have loved to have been able to wait until May and study a bit.

But anyway lol the prometric entrance exam required by Bergen is called the HESI Admissions Asessment. I believe that schools use it as check up exams and exit exams as well. This is just a different type of entrance exam.

Haha unless of couse I'm terribly confused and took the HESI exit exam for fun....which is always possible with me

Whew! Ok.. so I guess they staggered the testing for some reason. I go Monday.. soo... ::fingers crossed:: hope I'll be seeing you guys in the fall! Oh yeah, and keep me updated on if you got in.. I'll be rooting for you! Good luck everybody!

Oh wow. Your going monday? I got the same letter to schedule by May 12 but for some reason I haven't got confirmation yet to even schedule for my test... I wonder if something is wrong...

Don't worry just yet. When I called Elsevier all upset, they told me it takes up to 5 days to receive confirmation. Just call them and calmly explain the situation (that if you wait 5 days you will be past the deadline). I was able to get myself bumped to the front of the line for confirmation and received it within a few hours after I called. Hope this helps! Maybe I'll see you Monday

this process is so long and tedious!!! I keep checking web advisor and the mail every day to see if i got an acceptance or rejection letter in the mail. I want to know if i got in!!! Sorry everybody, I'm just nervous beyond belief!

I agree! They take a long time. But I got ahold of them maybe like a week ago and they told me they don't even begin making decisions for like three weeks. So we still have a while to wait
