Very good! You're basically in I'm taking A&P I right now..and will be taking A&P II and Chem this summer. That sucks that you have to retake Chem..maybe you can CLEP it?

Anyway, glad all went well!

Hi MsAsia!

We'll be classmates! :-) I just finished A&PI last week and will be starting A&P II on Monday. I'm taking Chem this summer too (second semeser at Union County College). Where are you taking Chem?

Also, are you in the day or evening program?

I'm so excited..I can't wait! I got the nursing packet and am a lil anxious about getting everything completed before the nursing assistant course starts!

well i was actually going to take chem at UCC as well, but the morning classes were full =( in summer I and i didnt want to take chem AND the nursing asst course at the same time in summer II so i opted to take the chem at mountainside. the only bad part is that it was kinda expensive b/c its thru njcu =/ ..

i am going to be in the eve program for the nursing asst course, and the day program in the fall. it just works better with my work sched. which by the way, im gonna work til i cant work anymore lol. however if it starts to affect my studies, then ill quit caz nursing's more important.. and YES the packet is a bit overwhelming, im tryng to figure out what im going to do right now lol..

ps. do u have a degree already?

HELLO MsAsia!
I am doing the same as you for the nursing asst course. I'm taking the eve program and doing the day program in the fall. I just have to complete A&P 1 and 2 this summer and i have to retake chem also because they wouldn't accept it but I'm probably taking that during the fall semester

Wow..I'm doing opposite of you guys I'm in the day program during the nursing assistant course and the evening program for the fall. And I'm taking Chem AND the nursing assistant course at the same time. I was told it really isn't so bad..so I should be fine. Yeah..I saw the cost of Chem through Mountainside..and there was NO WAY I could afford to take it that way. All I need is after this summer is microbiology..which I can take next summer.

Yup..I have a BA in English. What about you?

By the way, I will be working until the end of June..not working at all during the nursing assistant course, Chem..and hopefully finding a unit secretary position at one of the hospitals or another part-time job. I also have my substitute license so I'll be doing that once September hits..

I'm so excited for all of us! We have definitely chosen the best!
