Thanks Love840207

The book i got is not the 2003 edition. it is 2008. i was able to see a copy of the 2003 book. The major difference is the 2008 has a lot of diagrams and a physics section and practice test. Good luck to you

Hi NJRNtobe,

Did you have to do an interview to get into NCJU? I read on thier website that they sometimes do interviews.

Hi Miralpn,

I took the HESI on June 17, 2008. Did you give your email when you took the test because they should have sent you something explaning the results. Anyway I think the critical thinking was out of 1000.

I don't think NJCU is looking so much at the critical thinking. i

I don't think NJCU is looking so much at the critical thinking. I think they are looking more at how well you did on the 7 sections. The critical thinking did not count toward you overall average. What did you score for your overall average? If that score was good I wouldn't worry so much about the critical thinking score.
I heard that NJCU would be sending out acceptance/rejection letters within the next two weeks.

hi. i was so nervous that i told the examiner to sign me out that i didn't get to look at my overall average, but i did badly in biology, i got a 68%,i had four in the eighties and the rest in the ninties.so you see why am as nervous as anything.why would they give us critical thinking if it will not count.have you received anything in the email explaing the result to you ,i haven't .

Hi Miralpn,
I recieved an email from the HESI company the day after I took the test. It gave me my results and the class average of the people who took the test that day and a bunch of other info. Did you give them your email address? I will send you a Private Message.

Hi Njrntobe and everyone else,

I took the HESI at NJCU last tuesday, June 23rd or 24th LOL Something like that! I found out that I passed and was accepted to the program. However, I was also accepted to some other programs. So, now I find myself trying to make a decision that is going to affect the next year of my life and most likely my career! I am sure you all feel the pressure and are in the same boat.

NJRNTOBE, I would love to hear as much as possible about the program, since I don't really know much about the school. It seems it is hard to find information on the school and its program. This is most likely since it is new. Did you find there was a good balance between clinical and theory? How were the professors? Was the lectures straight lecture or more interactive. Did you take your NJCLEX yet? Did you feel prepared? Is there any truth to them not be acceredited?

Sorry for so many questions! I am just excited to find a resource!

Thanks
