Well baby nursery or developmental nursing

Hello,

Thanks for reading my post. I've been a developmental disabilities nurse for 3 years at a long term type facility. The job is easy, decent pay with down time during the shift. It's not too bad at all. However, the employee environment isn't great. There's constant bickering, everyone seems to hate their job, nurse sabotage and blame each other for mistakes daily. There's no team work. Recently I was offered a job as a newborn nursery nurse which was my favorite rotation in clinical. I don't know much about the new facility or job per se. I'm torn as to whether I should risk giving up my current job or try out this new job at the nursery. The new place could be just as bad in terms of the employees working together. The nurse manager said that I would have up to seven babies and they are short staffed right now. But what if I'm not good at this new job. It's hard to decide. Sorry for rambling. So in a nutshell, how do you all choose between jobs?
