Tips for a NICU New Grad?

I just passed NCLEX at the beginning of June, and I start my DREAM job in the NICU in 2 weeks. Do any of the experienced NICU nurses out there have tips for getting started? Resources? Brains? Thanks! :nurse:

About 18 months ago, when I was a new grad just starting in the NICU, I found that I needed a more structured and organized brainsheet in order to make sure I didn't miss anything. So, I created my own sheet. I don't know if it translates well to your unit, but I find it very helpful.

Unfortunately, it's an Excel worksheet, and an.com doesn't allow them to be attached, even in private messages. If you'd feel comfortable sending me your email in a PM, I'd be happy to send the form to you.

I'd LOVE to see your spreadsheet! Thank you so much for offering. I just signed up on this website a few days ago, and can't figure out how to do a private message. I'll just put it on here and delete it later. Dumb, but that's all I can think of. thanks again!

Ok, sending now. It's set up for night shift, but you can easily change the times if you're working days (in Excel). :)
