    I took my state boards yesterday! Passed and will be a new NICU RN starting Feb. 20. My dream job and what I was born to do. I just wanted to say thank you to all the nurses that post on here. I have read so many threads and learned so much from everyone.

    Congratulations to you both! I am closing out a 20 year career as a NICU nurse. I did 20 years in the Army, then nursing school, then straight to the NICU as a new grad. It has been everything I had hoped it would be (and some that I did not hope for .

    I wish you the best! Always remember "you are the babies voice".

    I just found out I passed my NCLEX yesterday and I start my first shift in the NICU tonight!!!

    Wow SUPER CONGRATS! I am doing everything in my power to become a NICU nurse; and with God's will and Grace that will be my reality in the next two years! I hope it's everything you dream it to be and more!!
