Med-surg or NICEU first?

1 Hello all, I'm a new graduate nurse but I'm not an RN yet!!! I'm starting out at a Sub-Acute facility where we get patients from the hospital who need rehab, have minor infections, knee and hip replacements, etc. Nothing really major. First question: 1. Do you think that this it is a good place for me start off until I get my license? 2. I really want to be a neonatal nurse practitioner, so should I get my one year in on a general med-surg floor or should I start off in the NICU?

I would really like everyone's opinion. Please help me, I just want to make the best choices I can. I'm really nervous about being a nurse. I've been a student for so long.
