hopeful future NICU nurse

  1. 0 I have been an RN for almost 2 years now and I have worked with medically complex/special needs infants and children for 16 months and now I currently work in the nursery on a small L&D floor (for almost 6 months). My goal is to work in a level III NICU and eventually go back to school and become an NNP. I'm not sure what experience/qualifications NICU unit managers are looking for in potential candidates and not sure if I'm even on the right track by working in a well baby nursery/level I. Any advice would be much appreciated!
