Re: new warmers
We have a couple of Giraffes, they are great for the little ones, especially as our neos like to humidify the babies. I wouldn't want just Giraffes, though. They are expensive, and take a long time to clean properly.
We have mostly Ohmeda warmers. They have some design flaws, e.g. the "On" switch is on the side but way back behind the support, and not always easy to reach. They go up high, but not low enough for short nurses! We recently got a couple of Pandas, and we will be using the Neopuff more. L&D is planning to go to total Neopuff next year.
Maybe you could split the purchase, and get some of each!
