I am transferring to the NICU from Oncology and would like some books suggestions so I can study. Does anyone have books they suggest????

When I transferred from an adult ICU to neonatal I purchased Core Curriculum for Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing. It's roughly $72 on Amazon.com.

It's been a great resource for me while on orientation.

100% agree. The 4th edition just came out. There is also a question and answer book that will help solidify the information. This book is what I studied to pass the RNC. I also refer to it regularly.

Become a member of the Academy of Neonatal Nursing and you will get Neonatal News. This is a monthly journal that is full of good stuff. Your hospital's medical library should have copies of both the Core Review and the Neonatal News.
