I am trying to find recomendations from the CDC on treating neonates when mom has suspected chorio. Has anyone seen this?

I'm not sured how much you will find at the CDC. Maybe check out the AAP?

Babies born to any mother suspected of having chorio should have a blood culture, CBC/diff and CRP sent, as well as amp/gent started (or whatever antibiotic du jour is at your facility) Some places go a little nuts and do an LP.

After 48 hr cultures are negative, you can d/c ABX therapy. It amazes me how many NICUs try and boost their census by treating these kids (with negative cultures) x7-10 days needlessly.
