Hey, does anyone have an opinion on taking the train/subway from the airport to downtown? Is it clean? Safe? It's much much cheaper than a $35 cab ride (and greener too). Not used to public transport - it's quite lacking in Austin.

I'm getting in around 1:30 tomorrow afternoon! I'll give you a ring then. I'm thinking about going to the Art Museum after I get checked in.

Hey:

Anyone know which section of the McCormick Convention Center that the AACN conference is going to be in? I was going to park at the Convention center parking lot A, but I didn't know which section of the convention hall we will be in. I heard that parking at the convention center was only 16.00. Anyone been there? Can you park there 24 hours a day?

Thanks,

Chris

Yes, Lot A is the closest to the exhibit hall, I got an exhibitors parking pass for $20 a day. The paperwork I have says no overnight parking.

Hey Brian:

Thanks...I was just trying to see if I didn't have to pay the 40.00 that Hilton wants per day to park!!! I think I am going to try the parking garages near the Hilton. See you at the convention!!!

Thanks!

Hi all!

Live from NTI here! I attended a 12 ld EKG pre-conference today! The speakers were wonderful! The McCormick Place West is HUGE! Just HUGE!

I heard today at the luncheon that over TEN THOUSAND participants will be attending! The most NTI has ever had! And it's because the conference is in Chicago! SOOO much to do here! Shopping, Theater, the attractions.....

Tomorrow there will be SO MANY people!

The expo (exhibits) actually start on Tuesday. I'm bummed because my flight is leaving from OHare at 1:20pm....So, I'll probably end up missing some, if not all of Thursday! I really want to spend time at the exhibits!

People buy boxes to ship their goodies that are given out back home because there is SO much stuff to be had! I can't wait!!!

Looking forward to meeting the AllNurses.com staff!

Yes, the McCormick Center is huge.

We got our exhibit bout half set up today, will finish it tomorrow. We got tons of goodies to give away, pens, calculators, mints bookmarks, 3 ipod touchs, Candy filled prescription bottles, flyers, allnurse.com buttons and more.

I'm glad to hear that there is going to be 10K visitors! That's awesome.

allnurses.com also sponsored the Message Center as well as the rotating Brochure Rack, we'll post some pictures after everything is up and running and all nice and clean

Had some great Chicago Pizza tonight... yum!

Can't wait to meet all of you that are coming! Be sure to stop by our booth the first day to get your name in the drawing for the ipods early. We will be drawing for an ipod each day, so the sooner your ticket is in, the better your chances!
