by Mindylane Nov 27, '12Hi everyone. I couldn't find a topic for it, so I apologize if there is one already, but I just wanted to see who was applying for U of R's May 2013 accelerated nursing program. I got the call today for an interview for December. I graduated from Stony Brook in 2008 with a 3.6 GPA but my overall from transferring schools is a 3.4 (not great, I know). After this semester it should be about a 3.5 (currently taking Bio and Nutrition at Nassau Community College on Long Island). I found out last week that I got into NYU, but I'm not sure if I really want to spend $84k on the degree. U of R is expensive as well, but not quiet as expensive.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello to anyone else who is hoping to get into U of R, perhaps discuss statistics, experience, etc.
Print and share with friends and family.
Compliments of allnurses.com.

- Feb 15 by Kim1789Hi! I couldn't find a thread for May 2013 either! I have been accepted to the May Abpnn program and am hoping to meet more people interested in this program as well.
- Feb 23 by nickpwaltersHey! I actually just commented on another thread about the May 2013 cohort. http://allnurses.com/general-nursing...ml#post7190469
Excited to meet everyone that got in! - Mar 1 by RosaleiMaeDid any of you apply to other local ABSN programs? I liked the U of R program, but it's so expensive and I was already accepted to the Brockport ABSN so I'm going with that one... did anyone else apply to both of these programs?

Hey Mindylane...didn't see anything later. Did you decide upon U of R?
