    Good luck, everyone. While I'd love to go to Stony because I live nearby and the price is fantastic, I was accepted into GWU's spring 2013 program and I'm looking forward to moving to Virginia and finishing five months earlier!!! I hope you guys have luck getting into SBU!

    Thank you guys. Best of luck to all of you. I've been following these threads for two years now (I applied both last year and this year) so I know how agonizing the wait is and how difficult it is to get into SBU... I hope everyone finds their place and succeeds Maybe I'll see you in the field one day!

    Congrats Mindylane! Wow I can't believe it's already acceptance season!! I applied to SBU and a ton of other programs. My cum GPA is pretty slow so I don't have my hopes up for that one but I'm still looking forward to finding out. Only 2 months to go!

    OMG who just received the e-mail about admissions decisions being made January 7th!? Wow, that was way quicker than I think any of us imagined! This is going to make a very suspensive winter break! Maybe that will make it seem longer?

    Me too! I don't believe I have a shot of getting in there at all but this will be the first school I hear back from so I'm pretty nervous. Does anyone know how many applications were received this time and for how many spots?

    I don't know how many applications they received, but there are only 65 spots. I'm so happy we will find out sooner this year, last year we didn't hear until mid Feb.

    Like I mentioned on the 2013 thread (someone posted the email there), I would be shocked to see them post decisions so early. Sorry for my pessimism, but I have seen how this rolls for the last 3 years But perhaps they have turned around? That is what I call a "glimmer of hope."
