- Jan 18, '11 by chickagoI applied around mid October, and still haven't heard a thing. I tried calling Admissions, but the nursing representatives they always direct me to never pick up.

There were no Teas exam for the accelerated program. I am sure you will get in. We all got responses

As for the health forms, just make an appointment with your primary care physician. S/he will perform a standard physical, send you for blood work, and you'll need a ppd test. Do it sooner rather than later! - Mar 21, '11 by vam33Hi I'm planning to get to Dominican absn in may 2012 could y please tell me about admission procedure what are there requirements?
Thank y - Mar 22, '11 by jeniba05vam33-
The requirements for the ABSN program are the following prerequisites:
Chemistry 1, Biochemistry, A&P I & II, Microbiology, Pathophysiology, Introductory Sociology, General Psychology, Lifespan Psychology, and Statistics. You'll need to earn a minimum grade of C+ in all prereqs.
You also need a bachelor's degree with an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.7.
As for the admissions process, I applied early (in June 2010 for the May 2011 program). But I think you would be fine as long as you submit an application to the college no later than September/October. - Mar 23, '11 by vam33Thank y for your reply I did send my bs transcript I'm working on prereq I'm afraid I will finish them by the end of this year and I was planning to take pathophysiology at Dominican spring 2012. Do you think that would be okay and I still be good for May 2012 program. Thank you.
