VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

So i took my entrance exam today , i thought it were ok the time went by soooo fast but i did finish everything. My question is now long does it take to get the results?

Hi Paul11238 It took about 3 weeks to get my results but each case is different. The best of luck to you.

The school has a lot of positive going for it. On the other hand, I can truly say the school and some of my peers would consistently manage to aggravate me. With anything in life though, you take the good with the bad and keep it moving.

If I were some of you though, with the cost of tuition increasing, I would look at RN diploma programs. They run around 30k, but in 2 years you have your RN. You would end up paying roughly the same price as going to VEEB then Helene Fuld. And there is no feeling of uncertainty as far as time goes.

Don't limit your choices. Personally I had no idea about the diploma programs when I applied to VEEB, had I known, I would have strongly considered that route. Graduating VEEB was definitely a blessing though, I owe the instructors a lot.

i never assumed i knew everything. my issue was that you came on here bashing the school you didnt say one positive thing until now. however your views are your views. i guess i will just have to see for myself when i do start in september. that is all.

hey guys!!! haven't posted on this thread in a while lol. just wanted to let everyone know that veeb is a great school/institution of learning. the teachers and staff are very helpful and compassionate. most are willing to go the extra mile to help students who need it, but only to those students who show real interest in their work and make themselves accessible for the extra help. honestly speaking... the people with the most complaints are usually the ones not doing so well and would rather point the finger (no disrespect to anyone...just my opinion).

just a word of advice: stay focus... keep your quiz adverages high... study until your brain can't take it anymore and never give up! lol good luck future class of 2012!!! continue to pray for us (class of 2011). today we are offically 2 semester's down with 1 more to go! :p

Grindin26.. Thank you.. you gave the good, the bad and the evil side of VEEB's lol. I figured it wouldnt be perfect expecially because there are so many different personalities in one bldg but you make the best out of any situation and thats what Im planning on doing. I like what you said take the good with the bad and keep it moving. A motto to live by:D

hi everyone,

I just receive a phone call from VEEB saying that they are not sending out my results to me cause i tested to late but i did fail my reading and i can get another shot at the bridge program which start monday. I really don't know if its really worth me spending another $500.00. Is there anyone who have taken the bridge and still got a spot in the program.

there is a website if u put in veeb book bundle. thats how i found them. they are a little cheaper on amazon.com
