University of Rochester ABPNN Fall 2012

Hello Everybody:

I decided to make this new thread for the students that are applying to the ABPNN (University of Rochester) for the fall 2012. I have been reading other posts from previous cohorts, but haven't found anyone for the fall 2012 cohort. I sent my application a few days ago, so now I'm in the WAITING process. Does anyone know how long is going to take them to have the final results? Any comments will be appreciated and will help us to stay on top of the GAME!! Good luck to all of you!!:up:

congrats, would you share yours stats.. GPA, with us. I hope they call me soon too, Ive been cheking my email as well cause Im out of the country untill next week,but I havent gotten anything yet.

Hi,

I just stumbled on this thread. I didn't know that the school started calling people. When I called on Monday, the woman told me they started reviewing applications and will notify those via phone if they are selected for an interview starting next week. She went through the documents that I had sent in and said that everything is ready for review.

hhhmmmm....I'm guessing I didn't get in so now I'm just waiting on the rejection letter.

no, she didn't mentioned how long they were reviewing applications or anything about rejection letter. she said just said they will be calling people next week for interviews. it's strange that some people already got accepted or received a phone call. when i spoke to the woman, i had the impression that they barely started looking at applications since the deadline was march 1st.

also, i was reading the other u of r thread and some people already got accepted.

have you heard anything?

I didn't even know there was another fall 2012 ABSN thread! I'm shocked that some people already had their interview and acceptance. Would you mind posting the threads link? I'm only concerned with timing because I have not taken nutrition yet, and summer class registration starts soon. I moved down to Atlanta recently and the schools down here require many more prerec's so I'm spacing them all out!

The thread is from 2009 but there were some recent post from those who said they got accepted. I really want to call the U of R again but I've called numerous times. Think I'll just wait for the rejection letter.

As for pre reqs, I would apply to take the courses anywhere that you can get in so you can finish on time.

As for pre reqs, I would apply to take the courses anywhere that you can get in so you can finish on time.

Those people in that thread are not for the fall, the ones that were accepted were for the may 2012 start. I am also starting to worry. I think I have a good chance to get in, but I haven't received any call yet. I spoke to them last week and they said that they were scheduling interviews and I was gonna receive a call within last week or this one..still waiting!!!!!!!!

I missed her call because I was in class but I will call her back by tomorrow. I am going to do a phone interview as I am from Florida. I don't know the stats of everything but my application was submitted March 1st.

k, cool.. Ill let u know when I get a call. I'm from Miami Fl. I'm graduating this summer. Its nice to know there are people from Florida applying as well. Good luck!!!
