hello:

i am stating school this sept for the lpn program. can anyone tell me how long it took to get a job after you graduated.

i have been doing some research on lpn jobs. i am finding most hospitals do not employ lpn. the nursing homes do.

also, is dutchess community the best place for the lpn to rn ?

appreciate any information.

very excited to start school this fall. have always wanted to be a nurse and i have a great opportunity that i am not passing up.

thanks

Cool.

What is your name?

I was at the school the other day. We are going to get a booklet with some math homework due the 1st day. Have you completed all your financial aid paperwork?

I was told we can not get the books until the 1st week of school.

They are going to split the class up in 3 groups and divide in alphabetical order by last name. So far Kim and I are in the same class.

This is a great site. There are so many wonderful Nurses on here. There is a world of information. Nurses here are very helpful.

See ya in school

Hi.. Maria:

I called the red cross and I am signed up for the class at end of this month. The cost is $55.00. Nonrefundable....

I am excited about going to school but on the same note, wished I was already in school.. I hate to wait.... but.... have no choice..

I know we are going to get 9-10 books for school..

**I hope I am in the right class***

Looking forward to meeting you..

Hi

Thanks for all the information.

I was given some suggestions on this site.

I was told to go right for my BSN instead of the RN. As soon as you get your BSN, you can take the test for RN. It saves you another step.

I'm sure if I'm wrong, someone will correct me..

THanks
