NYU ABSN Fall 2013 Entry

Hi,

I am new to this forum as well. I applied to PACE and NYU for the fall 2013 and waiting for a response. Can anyone share their undergrad GPA and/or Pre-req GPA? Mine is 3.10 and 3.89 respectively. My undergrad is low compare to other applicants I guess and obviously this is putting me in a nervous mode. This waiting is killing me!!

I got 2 amazing recommendation letters, and amazing work experience and volunteering services. But my overall, gpa, Health and nutrition gpa, and Psychology gpa and pre-req gpa are all between 3.00 - 3.5 which is not good. I’m worried. Did anyone hear about which they take more into consideration? and did you hear if that accept people with GPAs like ours?

Hi Helwafufu,

Looks like we are in the same boat. Crossing my fingers so that the admissions people not only look at our undergrad GPA but also look at to our great letter of rec, work and volunteer experiences. Good luck to all of us! I would like to know more about financial aid at NYU. It is pretty expensive and that's why I made PACE my first choice.

Usually these programs look at overall GPA because that's the one element that all applicants have in common, since so many people have outstanding prerequisites at the time of application.

I can't remember who asked, but someone wanted to know where else I applied - I also applied to Penn, Duke, Marquette, and Johns Hopkins.

i went yesterday to drop off my transcript and it took me 45 minutes to find the building LOL

i love the area, i love the people, i love everything about it. im so nervous and worried.

hopefully we ALL get in.

sigh..... so nervous

i was jumping up and down when i saw they got my check yay

ive never been so happy before for someone taking my money. LOL

I just submitted my application recently, and received an email confirming the receipt of my application. When do you receive an Albert log in?

I applied on January 22nd and received my Albert log in info in an email 8 days later 1/30.

Lol I said the same thing !!! I was telling my bf how "I'm so excited they received my check." He thought I was crazy but I'm glad you understand :)

I'm so anxious I'm literally refreshing the Albert page as well as this forum....... :X
