Nursing Program at Hunter College NLN Score

U.S.A. New York

Published

hey everyone! I'm currently a student at hunter college and am applying for the nursing program for Fall 2010. I am taking the NLN tomorrow and am very nervous! I know the test is computer based and you can get your score as soon as your finished taking the test. I know there have been NLN exams going on since Monday. I was wondering if people wanted to share their scores (totally anonymous) just so we can get idea of what the high-low scores are. I hope everyone did well and I hope to see you in the program this fall!:nurse:

thanks allaboutme! btw did anyone get their scrubs yet? its taking foreverrr =(

Can someone tell me which book we have to purchase for pharmacology since I didn't get the emails? Thank you!

no problem annag.

the scrubs will be shipped next week, we should get them in 2 weeks from now. dont worry abt scrubs yet, worry about enjoying the last few weeks of freedom!!!!! :D

iamacase,

i have put the beginning of the first 2 weeks of content under course materials. they are listed as weeks and have material there that will get you started. please, do not email me for the syllabus, as i will download this when i am ready.

i look forward to meeting all of you when the semester starts. till then, enjoy the rest of your summer!

THANK YOU!!!

got my scrubs the other day =D can't believe school is just around the corner!!!

hey everyone...i was looking through the hunter nursing website and found this:

"For incoming RN pathway students and those re-admitted for fall 2010, there will be a mandatory orientation to the program on August 19, 2010. The orientation will be in room 218, and will begin at 4 pm. No student will be admitted after 4:15 pm as too much information will be missed if the student is late. Failure to attend orientation will result in forfeiture of a seat in nursing courses."

Does anyone have any information about this? And I'm guessing we're the incoming RN pathway students?

That's for people who are RNs already. We are the generic pathway.

Just curious, did anyone form a group yet for pharmacology? for discussion topics.. I think I saw on Blackboard that we need to form groups by the first day of class?

yeah i saw that too...i haven't formed a group yet but i have clinical on monday so i will probably try to get into a group then. so much reading to do guys one more week!!!

just to verify...for lab we wear the blue scrubs and for clinical we wear the purple and white uniform? just making sure...i have clinical on monday and dont want to mess up!!!

the best to all of you! thank you for your cooperation.

yep you got it right for the uniforms. There is a ton of reading and I didn't even start yet. Does anyone know if we need to buy that tracking system before classes start? They said there were instructions on Bb but I couldn't find it.. but then again there are so many documents posted
