Has anyone heard of this fellowship and how the application process is coming along?

Specializes in Critical Care.

I interviewed in August and September for the ICU fellowship at LIJ. I just got the call back last week that I was accepted into the program. It is amazing that the process is still exactly as antares described. I fumbled through the head-to-toe assessment a little bit and wish I had read this before I interviewed lol as I was not expecting to be asked that at all. This program starts October 10. I believe they are in the works of starting another one in March or so. Good luck to all of you!! & hope to see those of you accepted on Oct 10 for "Beginnings"!!

i just applied for the fellowship march 2012. the application posting was up for three days no resopnse yet. the listing went offline Feb 3rd??? any comments?

Is this fellowship a paid position? Do they require you to work for x number of years in return for the training? Where can I find more information about it? The North Shore LIJ Nursing Fellowship webpage is not all that informative.

Yes it is paid. Very competitive salary. They require a two year commitment from the start date but you don't sign any contracts. It's more like a verbal agreement that everyone respects. My suggestion would be to contact nursing education at either north shore or LIJ to get more information.

I have been trying to get into northshore since march and no good results.

After the first interview with the HR recruiter for a fellowship position, how long would it take for a response back? This was for the ED and we just had a holiday. Don't know what to do from here.
