They have walk in interviews (walk in interviews, same day interviews as you walk in the HR department).. if you check the site, go to careers, and then go to events.. they have a list of walk in interviews dates and time, and location.. thats how i was hired.. take care

However, this is not "open interview." The website specifically says "experienced RNs," and you have to be called to schedule an interview.

Ohhh I know what the hospital of NEW GRADUATE ASSOCIATE DEGREE NURSES is paying. A big fat $0.00 per hour.

Does anyone know anything about Bellevue Hospital Center? I have emailed the nursing recruited, but haven't heard back. I graduate in May, but I'm in a diploma program. Do you think I'll have a problem finding a job?

I do think you will have a problem finding a job as new graduates are reporting from all over the country (including NYC) that they are not being hired at present. Don't give up hope because in the next few years things will open up dramatically as people like me retire. Right now my age group is hanging on to the last minute (because of the economy) and then taking Per Diem jobs. In a few years that will all change and we will stop working. In the meantime, you are wise to get your preferred hospital information in order, including how to apply. When I went to the VNSNY recently I found the experience harrowing because I had to work through their online application Web site which I found somewhat complicated since I needed to fit my big resume into their format. Anyway, back to Bellevue. They are part of Health and Hospitals Corp and there is a Web site which you should have on your list of "Favorites". Here is the site: Nursing New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation
Good luck!

Anybody? How much does Lutheran Hospital, SUNY Downstate, New York Methodist Hospital, Elmurst Hospital in Queens are paying new grads with a BSN? Also Night differential and tuition reimbursement? Last but not least are they all unionized? Are they hiring new grads and do they have preceptorship or training and how long is it?
Thanks a million.
Just graduated last week!

This is a
Name-the-hospital-and-its-starting-salary-thread
I think you will have a better chance of getting your questions answered by starting a regular thread
Or else what happens is you get a bunch of people like moi who just come to this sticky to see what other hospitals are paying
Congrats on graduating, the easiest part is over! lol
