MSKCC just general questions

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone here works at MSKCC and if you could tell me what it's like to work there. I've heard a lot of good things about MSK and i really hope that i can work there someday. Would you say as a nurse that you feel appreciated? What is the salary like as a new grad? I guess I just would like to know what you're days are like and if you're happy with the work situation.

Thanks!! :clown:

Hi! I'm a new nurse with one year of telemetry experience. I have an interview for the Sloan Medical-Surgical ICU. I am extremely nervous for this interview because this is my dream job. Do you have any advice regarding the interview process? I know I will be meeting with HR first, but I'd love any advice whatsoever. Thanks!

Hello stephchu00...

Just replying to your post here in allnurses.

How did you apply for the job in MSKCC? Do you know somebody who work there or did you just submit an application online? I am just curious to know about the interview which you had in MSKCC? How was it? What were the questions that were asked from you? How many stages of interview did you have? Were you able to get the job? I am also a new grad with ICU training and gaining some experience. I would love to know info about your application process in MSKCC as I am interested to work in their SICU/MICU. Your response to this is highly appreciated.

Other great nurses out there who worked or are currently working in MSKCC who has an answer to my questions are encouraged to reply. :nurse:
