Specializes in acute care.

I took the entrance test and passed...I'm waiting to be called in for the next step...I heard the program was good and that if you choose the Manhattan site, they will help you get into a nursing program....however, it is supposed to be a very intense program, having many people drop

The test is 3 hrs. and has three sections: Reading, Math, and English.

I took the test and passed, and now I'm waiting to hear about the next

step. Does anyone know how the screening process works? Are there

additional tests? Are there 2 interviews? Thank you.

Heard there was an additional exam that we will have to take, but don't know what it's on

The interview is going to be harder than the entrance exam...some of the applicants have other BS/BA degrees....they know what to say to please the interviewer....The most common question is going to be "Why do you come to nursing?" Be careful what you say....don't say is the "job security" or money related answer...you will kill yourself right on the spot...if you are a Nursing Assistant with a year experience in Nursing...you get a better chance...if not, try to be a volunteer in a health care setting...hope this will help...good luck!

By the way, I was a PN before becoming an RN.
