Hey everyone.. I am looking for help. My facility is starting a Nursing Rehab program, based on the MDS's, and I am the "lead in the show". I am collecting information on other NY & Long Island area NR programs, how they run, and who I can talk to. It seems that while so many of us are doing it(Nursing Homes) nobody is advertising it. I know that I would much prefer to have my relative in a facility where rehab dosent stop after PT & OT are done. If anyone out there has the time to give to me, I would be eternally grateful. I am looking at this from the ground up, there never has been a program like this in my facility. I understand that Gurwin in Bayshore area has one, and that is relatiely close to my house. Also, if anyone call tell me where you get your certification for rehab nursing, I'd appreciate it.
