    Hi all, I recently went on a job interview and they suggested I get IV certification before applying for their ER nursing fellowship in the fall, my question is, where can I get this in the Long Island area, I was looking at Molloy, but I work the days that they offer their courses. Are there any other places I can find the IV certification course?

    Most colleges that have a nursing program often have an IV therapy class under the continuing ed section. Although I'll be honest I took one and I don't know how much it helped me, practicing on a mannequin, but it looks good on your resume. good luck!

    i recently came upon an IV certification class offered by Medilink which will be on Sept 18 in Hammonton, NJ. don't know if you will be willing to travel all the way there. i live in PA but will be attending this class. i graduated last May and am hoping this will give me an edge when i apply for a nurse residency program.
