Anyone here working as a home care nurse? Which agency are you working for? I worked as home care nurse a couple of years ago and am thinking of returning to this field. Thanks.

Hello, there...not a nurse but was an HHA for Partners in Care which is a sub. of Visiting Nursing Service of NY. The nurses that came to see my patients worked for VNSNY.

I am an LPN (Community Health Nurse) working on my RN. I work for Ideal Sr. Living Center (part of UHS) in Endicott, NY. I do home care and I love it. I would encourage you to go back and give it another try!

If youd like to return to the Home Care feild, ask the social worker in the hospital you work in, or in the local hopsital, she knows who does home care, as she is discharging to home(I hope) alot.

Also, do a search for home care agencies under Goodsearch.com (which donates to charities) and put in what you are looking for.

I know the pediatric agency I work for dosent advertise, but gets all their referrals from the SW at the local childrens hospital.
