Does north shore LIJ send a rejection letter/email after the interview

U.S.A. New York

Today is the exact two-week after my interview in north shore lij. I haven't heard any back yet and I left a voice mail for the recruiter. I want to know if they would give me any notification for rejection when they decided not to hire me. I hate waiting. I have been constantly checking my phone and email. I am feeling very stressful and frustrated. I think i should move on and stop putting any hope on this. :sniff:

I called and left a message with HR and emailed my HR interviewer, with no response from either.

hey tendrlovencare,

I didn't get the position but it took 2 wks to hear an official rejection letter. My recruiter seemed by the book so that might be a decent timeline. Maybe you can call HR, not the recruiter herself and ask them when a good time to contact her/him might be.

Who was your recruiter? You can PM me if you want.

In anycase, it's a great sign that they gave you a heads up about sealing the deal. Double check with references to see if they're all completed too

Ironically I am updating my post 2 yrs after. As I said my interview with the nurse manager was in January 2012 with the completion of all reference about the same time. I moved to upstate for a hospital job in April. I did not hear anything back from them at all until early June of 2012. The same recruiter contacted me on the phone and asked me the do the reference again. I told them I was not interested in the position anymore. I felt insulted by the way they handled things. This is ridiculous and unbelievable. Hopefull this is just my personal experience. Good luck everybody.
