Does anyone know how much the tuition for BSN nursing program at Long Island University Bklyn Campus is? Does Anyone have any comments, stories etc on this school?? Thanks for the help.

I don't know how much the tuition is but I know it's expensive. I have a classmate who transfered from there for financial reasons.

Have you checked their website? Or maybe you should give them a call.

I got my acceptance letter on Saturday...I'm waiting for an answer from Pace Univerisity since they are my first choice. The tuition is listed on their website...here is a link:

:jester: Congratulations to you!

Would you mind telling me when you sent in your application?

I want to apply there and I know they have "rolling admissions".

They are very vague about when the best time to apply is. I want to submit my application, but not if it is already too late and they just want my application fee, I don't want to waste my time and $ with transcripts and references... ( I should have sent it in a month ago, but my physiology prof. is really kicking my butt this semester.....)

Thanks!

Hi, I attend LIU brooklyn campus, I am a freshman doing my prereq's. This is how it is LIU is an expensive school- $729 a credit. To start your proffessional phase you must have 65 credits finished- all pre req's ( history, science etc...), Your GPA must be a combined 2.5 for science courses, and 2.5 for all your courses. For a transfer student it must be 2.75 and 85 if your in high school. Before starting the actual proffesional phase you have to take a HESI exam and score 70 or above. Once your start the proffessional stage you must take 63 more credits for a combined 128(63+65) tuition remains the same $729 per credit times 128 credits you do the math:monkeydance: but they have financial aid helps some but not much, if your grades are really good they have scholarships! any more info needed just go to LIU.com click on brooklyn campus and click on academic programs! good luck!

I filled out my application at the end of january, and received a response this past saturday....If you do the application online, there is no fee, it's waived....I also did not send any letters of reference to them...

You r enrolled in the upcoming semester no matter when you submit your application. For example if you apply in november you will start in the spring, if you apply in march you will start in fall see!

I don't think that is necessarily true...You have to indicate on the applicaton when you would like to start. Just because I apply in November does not mean I want to start in the spring. I may want to start in the summer, or get an early decision for the following fall.

I attend LIU and of course u can start whenever u want but on the application u do indicate when you plan on starting and since it is on a ''rolling basis'' some people may be unsure when to apply and when they will start but if you apply in the fall you cannot start in the fall and you would have to wait for when classes start over which is in the spring but I understand what u were trying to say.
