U.S.A. New York

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone else on here applied for the 2013 Hunter generic nursing program. For those of you applying to the traditional generic program how do you feel about the seats being reduced to 50 due to the new program being introduced =(?

Hi, this is out of topic but I have a quick question.

Are you guys all sophomores?

So lets says i'm done with my nursing prereqs and GERS what classes do I take until I get into the nursing program?

Hey all, I took the test in the beginning of february and got a 148, and my GPA is a 3.29 .

@lee well really there are no classes to take after that, in my case I had to declare a major to keep my financial aid, so I'm just taking those classes to keep floating around.

I am currently inrolled in hunter college, and deciding to get into the new genetic program at hunter Bellevue. GPA 3.9 and nln 130 wht are my chances ?

hey competition, when do u suppose we'll hear from hunter anyways?

I have a 3.94 and a 148. i used to think that was really good but now i don't feel so confident :( does anyone know of other 3.9/4.0's? i only know of 2 4.0s and they got a 140 and 155 on the nln

Well last year it was late April that we got the emails, but the years before it was early may, so somewhere in between I would say.

I have a 3.94 and a 148. i used to think that was really good but now i don't feel so confident :( does anyone know of other 3.9/4.0's? i only know of 2 4.0s and they got a 140 and 155 on the nln

Hey, are u Applying for the new generic? If so I thk u stand in a good position.. But do u think there are a lot of people with 3.8 Gpa and 130 nln score?

no i'm doing the traditional program. I have no idea what's considered "good" anymore. btw, we're not going to get our acceptance letters until mid-may.

True, the wait is agonizing, and i m kinda glad tht ur applying for traditional :) .. lol but good luck i am sure u will make it in .. that is a good average and NLN score. unllike my nln score..

I've applied to the accelerated track, and even though there's a slim chance of getting in, the wait is still the toughest part. Did anyone else apply to accelerated? Good luck to all!

Hello everyone. I know this was mentioned earlier but does anyone have info from an official source on when acceptance letters will be sent out?

I applied to accelerated and pre-nursing advisor is saying mid-may for that. I'm fairly certain generic will be at the same time (based on past threads).
