anyone hear from cnr accelerated nursing program yet?

jessyb,

I received a conditional letter of acceptance in the mail last week sometime. But my advice to you is to definitely call the admissions office. I called them about three weeks ago and they informed me over the phone that I as accepted on this basis.

Do you have any info on the class structure, like time-wise, how many days per week the program consists of?

Hey I recieved my acceptance letter uh April 24th or 25th, cant remember. But if you applied online you can see their decision there. Im actually going to register for classes Tomorrow. Ill let you know @nina

I will let you know tomorrow when I register for classes

Great, thank you! I register tomorrow (Tuesday). I am hoping to get a lot of information.

Oo Great! At what time? Im meeting with her tomorrow at 1pm. Maybe Ill see you :D

I go at 3, maybe I will see you then!

Hello there,

I wanted to chime in since I will be joining you both in the accelerated program this summer. I assume from your posts that you all already got the info you wanted from registration. I just got my financial aid letter in the mail today also if you are still waiting. See you all on June 10th!

Yes ma'am. I registered for summer classes and handled financial aid for the most part. Cant wait to meet you June 10th! I was told 30 ppl are enrolled

DNPDreams , Can you tell me about the program? Pros and Cons? did you NEED a car. Thanks

I dont think I can tell you much being that I am starting my first semester there. But going to the information session I think you defiantly need a car. There isnt much public transportation and they said clinicals could be anywhere, and its basically first come first serve! One pro I can see is their clinical affliations to alot of good hospitals. If you make the right connections that could be a guaranteed job after graduation. Tution is not that bad compared to other private school honestly, 23000ish for the year. And I mean the program is 18 months. Cons uh im coming from LI/Queens. I know I will hate the commute and toll. After you planning on attending in the summer?

great! thanks for the info. i will be registering next week for classes. got my financial aid letter last week. how did the registration process go? can't wait to see you all on orientation :)
