Cheap CNA classes in Buffalo?
- 0Feb 2 by Nursing pursuitDoes anyone know where I can get certification to be a CNA in the Buffalo area. I've considered phlebotomy as well but it's too expensive for what you'll be making. In my school, it's about $1200 not including the book, too much! Does anyone know any place that they would recommend? I'd pay $500 or $600 to do this. I almost got hired in a nursing home but I couldn't go through with it because I couldn't get a reference from my clinical course since I didn't pass it. I'd appreciate any help!
- 0Feb 9 by NewNurse_13Are you still trying to become a CNA? Well prior to me becoming a nurse I was a CNA for 6 years and I received my training through EOC. Then I paid for my test, uniform, shoes, and books. It was cheap then I think total I spent maybe $500. Not quit sure of the exact amount. I also know you can go through BOCCES which takes financial aid. Also you could apply to places that offer paid training and you will also be able to work for them after. Places like Elderwood, Scholifield, Brothers of Mercy, and the Mcguire Group.
