What does it take to get into nursing

Hello guys
This is my 2nd yr of college, under a liberal arts major..... just waitiing to get into the nursing program in B.M.C.C. I feel like I have no hope and that there is favoritism when picking the next yr nursing student over gpa... what happens to the ones that have 2.9's or whatever.... they have to wait for eternity to get in. Well guys I was just wondering are there any schools or programs in the nyc area with no waiting to be done??

I know what your going through, i have an AS in Med Tech and have been waiting 2 years to get into nursing school. I applied to several schools including the school i just graduated from. I now go to Molloy in Rockville Centre, they have a wonderful program. As long as you have the required prereq's you'll have no problem getting in!! Good Luck
