Another thing you might also consider looking into is whether or not the hospital hires ADNs. Most large private hospitals in the city that have housing options - NYP, NYU, Mt. Sinai (not sure about housing options on this), only hire BSNs, ADNs with significant experience. Good luck!

Even though most hospitals in Manhattan don't hire new grads without a BSN, if you were to get a job in a hospital you could make it. I don't recommend moving to the city without having a job lined up. I don't know how familiar you are with the city, but you may want to broaden your horizons in regards to boroughs or get a roommate.

NYP still hires ADN new grads.
