I'm taking A&P1 and the lab at the Westside campus, Math 145, Eng 102 and Nut 244 at Montoya. I've never taken any classes at Westside, but I hear it's a very nice campus with easy parking! I'll be there on T-R-F, maybe I'll run into you! - Diane - Aug 11, '05 by elizabettaQuote from kharingI'm glad to see you're throwing some fun into the mix.Let's see...

Is anyone planning on attending UNM? I was just looking at their latest catalog and noticed some (disappointing) pre-req changes, such as the addition of Eng 219 instead of a core area 1 which includes Phil 156 which I took this summer. Also, soc or phil 101 is specifically required instead of whatever core area that was. I guess it's time to see their advisor to see exactly how much time I've wasted

After this semester i will start finishing up the rest of my prereqs. It is sad that tvi and unm can't mesh their classes better. I need to see an advisor as well. If I can't get into UNM I'll apply again after the tvi adn program. Good luck to you. Maybe it won't be as bad as you think.Hi all!

Elizabeth - Aug 15, '05 by HeartsOpenWideQuote from DianeMyraat least you can get in. My school only has one teacher for anatomy and physio and micro each semester, ONE, so unless you already have alot of units your day to sign up is late and your chances of getting in are next to noneAll my planning for "nice" A&P teachers seems to be for not
I don't get to register until tommorow at 6AM and all that's left are the "not so nice" ones. - Diane - Aug 15, '05 by DianeMyraQuote from HeartsOpenWideYikes, only one teacher. - Aug 15, '05 by DianeMyraOK, false alarm. The classes I took are still relevant (I'm glad I didn't panic too badly!) The problem was that TVI gave me VERY old information geez. Oh well, at least I'm still on track. But I would recommend anyone who plans to attend UNM to speak directly with them. ~ DianeLast edit by DianeMyra on Aug 15, '05 : Reason: flubbed a word
- Aug 19, '05 by DianeMyraHi there,
I'm high jacking my own thread again (I think we need just one New Mexico thread for the amount of banter we have
. ) Anyhoo, I notice that UNM has a residency program for nurses, it is one year long. They offer classes towards BSN or MSN through the college of nursing, and state that salary is paid upon completion of those classes. Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you, Diane
